Dear Aunt Clare,
Thanks for your letter; it was lovely to hear from you. I’m sorry it’s taken so long for me to write to you, but I’ve been studying a lot recently. I’m so happy to hear that you’ve had a new baby and I have a new cousin! Thank you very much for the invitation to dinner on Sunday – I’d love to come. I can’t wait to see Sarah and of course to meet baby Charlie. I’d like to see your photos of the last few months as I’m sure they’ve changed so much. I hope you can show me the videos you have of your holiday to Egypt too. You said that it will be a barbeque, so is it ok if I wear shorts and a t-shirt? Would you like me to bring anything for you and Uncle Simon from here? I remember you loved the oranges from this area. I would like to bring a few toys for the children too. I suppose I’d better go now and finish studying. I hope you’re all well. Looking forward to seeing you Sunday, Best wishes, David |
